David (Si) Ferrin homesteaded one of the valley's biggest cow ranches in the early 1900s by combining many homesteads. Ferrin sold his farm to the Snake River Land Company in the 1920s following a slump in the agriculture industry. In 1950, these areas were added to the park. A few cottages still stand, and today cattle, bison, elk, and pronghorn graze in the fields.

Traveling along the boardwalk is simple. Continuous smoke and a wave that emanates from the wave are present. It is incredible to consider that this rhythmic wave emanating from a cave's interior has been performing this regularly for hundreds of years or more. Certainly worth the stop.

The Grand Tetons, and the smooth, windy roadways have no concern over how you ride or your final destination as the vista is spectacular wherever you turn. Whether that be over Teton Pass, through the wide open meadows of antelope flats or in through the canyons of the greater Yellowstone river basin, what we've come to love about the area is that there is no predetermined riding style, no underlying group to be associated with - just an open road and the beauty of the outdoors.
This passion and the love for the open road morphed into a business pursuit with the central idea of showing others who have found that same independence on the road, an inclusive, locally guided experience that is unmatched by traditional commercial guiding services within the region.
As the founder and lead guide, you'd be hard pressed to find me riding anything other than an Indian over the past 22 years I've been riding.
I've traveled more than 80,000 miles through these mountains, and I intend to go 80,000 more as Teton and Yellowstone National Park, as well as the surrounding landscapes, are as well-known to me following 43 years of regional open road experience as anywhere in the world.
I look forward to inviting YOU to come meet me, arrange a trip, and have a lovely, relaxed motorcycle getaway with me and my staff while we showcase the secrets of what this area truly has to offer.
